In the sacred space between what was and what is next, there is a moment of profound presence that emerges from the individuals I've have the honor of witnessing.
Whether it is holding space for the memory of a loved one, reclaiming a physical room from the weight of the past, or navigating the invisible living deaths through dance and ritual. It is in these thresholds that I learn what it means to be truly human. To hold and to witness is a calling I am forever grateful to have heeded.
These are the reflections of those who have sat in the circle with Primera Luz.
They are more than testimonals, they are the first sparks of light returning after a long night. We share them here to serve as a compass for your own journey of renewal.
"As a very sentimental person, it can be challenging to downsize or get rid of any of my children's belongings. As I was preparing to move, I realized I could not keep lugging around this volume of stuff under the category of "memories."
Christina was amazing and helped me get into a flow of letting things go. She was patient and supportive, as she helped me pick boundaries with myself. I went from having a wall of bins to one with the most special things. I could not have done this without her! I feel so much lighter when we were done and it made the process of moving way smoother.
She made what felt like an impossible task, a beautiful time of remembering while reclaiming space and giving items new life."

Space Reclamation
"A newer friend here in AR is a Death Doula. When Ottie crossed the viel, I was hesitant to reach out to her, not wanting/ ready to "move through" jack shit. When she saw his obituary on FB, she immediately offered dozens of types of support.
Ready to get out of the house, I asked her to take me & Daisy for a walk. Over the past two days, she's come to take us on literal walks but also has deeply held space and walked (sat/cried) with me through this grief. No other loss has so completely shattered me ( deeeeep in my heart where I've coiled my physical body around the fear of just such a loss.)
Here there is now space. It's new & uncomfortable. She's been able to tune in and help me process in the most helpful & unexpected ways. I'm finding a foundation as the sands shift all around. In the event you may think such a person may support your journey, she's likely who you're looking for.

A place to feel what needs to surface
"Even living an hour away, I make the trip to the Grief and Shadow Dance classes because the environment Christina creates feels safe and I don't feel judged. She allows you to feel what needs to surface in that moment, whatever emotion needs to be released, this is the place to do it.
I've realized I get more out of these classes than anywhere else. I also find that I sleep better after every session. Christina is gifted at tending to the areas of life that others often overlook. If you feel like no one is listening or nothing else is working, give this class a chance. It hits the marks you truly need."

If we have shared a circle or ritual together and you feel called to add your voice to this space, I would be deeply honored to receive your reflection. Whether shared by name, nickname, or quiet anonymity, your words may be the light someone else is searching for.
With presence, Christina
